This blog will be about more than just the cleaning, part of Flying is Finally Loving Yourself (FLY) and this page kinda shows all my ups and downs as they come.

I am a Stay at Home Mom of 2 in a rural community here in Maine. Melly will be 4 in February and Dev will be 8 in January this year. Dev is in 2nd grade and Melly will go to Pre-K next year but we do a lot of homeschooling type work with her. Our homeschooling journey can be seen over at Educating Melonie by clicking the link on the bottom of the page. I also dabble in photography and my journey of photos can be seen at Avalon Photography, by this point you should know where to find the link LOL! If you are local to me in Maine I am available to take pictures for you!
I plan to do both written and video blogs of my journey... gotta get a tripod for the camera so the videos will be better... maybe in a few months, until then please bear with the bouncy videos that will sometimes be posted here! :)
Part of my journey also includes losing weight and getting in shape to run my first 5K in September 2012. I am going to be very frank and upfront with you all about my weight issues and the challenges of getting in shape. I am using SparkPeople to track my progress (really... do I have to tell you where the link is?) I am also going to be doing Yoga and Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred and will post my progress on those too!
